The CEES regards itself as a hub for research on Eastern Europe conducted at the University of Zurich and associate institutions. The CEES provides original, academically sound information on Eastern Europe and also acts as a clearinghouse for information provided by other institutions.
CEES is the editor of CEES Working Papers and co-editor of the online journals Russian Analytical Digest and Caucasus Analytical Digest. The Center is the editor of the book series CEES Book series - Osteuropa in Geschichte und Gegenwart, published by Böhlau-Verlag.
