Our Mission

The aim of the Center for Eastern European Studies (CEES) is to strengthen teaching and research at the University of Zurich about contemporary sociopolitical developments in Eastern Europe and to network with other national and international research institutions. As the University of Zurich’s center for exchange and information on current events in Eastern Europe, the CEES provides guidance and knowledge to political and corporate decision-makers as well as interested members of the public through open access publications, events, outreach and consultancy work.
